If you are taking the TACHS exam on November 8, there is no need to submit an admissions application. Your TACHS scores and report cards will be sent directly to Holy Trinity High School. Admissions and academic merit awards will be determined based on your report cards scores on the TACHS exam.
Holy Trinity offers Academic Merit Scholarships to students who score among the top 5% on the TACHS exam. Once enrolled, students receiving Academic Merit Scholarships must maintain a weighted average of 90 to renew the annual scholarship.
You do not have to place Holy Trinity first on the TACHS exam in order to qualify for an Academic Merit Scholarship. However, students who select Holy Trinity as their first choice on the TACHS exam are given priority for scholarships and financial aid.

Transfer students must pass the required NYS Regents exams before enrolling at Holy Trinity High School. In order to graduate from Holy Trinity High School, students must complete the following courses and regents exams: Algebra I, Comprehensive English, Global History, Living Environment and U.S. History.
Holy Trinity High School does not accept transfer students for Grade 12.
Transfer students interested in booking a tour or a Buddy Day must submit a current report card before scheduling the visit.
Schedule a Buddy Day
Students arrive for their Buddy Day at Holy Trinity High School at 7:45 a.m. at the Cherry Lane visitors' entrance.
For security purposes and to assure the perfect Buddy match for your child, please complete the Buddy Form, select your date and tell us a little about your child's interests. After attending classes and a complimentary lunch, students will be picked up at 1:15 p.m. at the Cherry Lane visitors' entrance.
Dress is casual, no jeans, sneakers, sweatshirts or sweatpants, and no midriff tops are permitted. Visitors are not permitted to use cell phones, Apple watches and ear buds during their Buddy Day visit.
Buddy Days for students interested on Fall 2027 enrollment will commence in Spring 2026.
Tours for 7th grade students considering fall 2027 enrollment will commence in Spring 2026. Students considering transfer to Holy Trinity must submit a high school transcript before scheduling a tour. Submit the high school transcript here.
