ART CAMP

Art Camp is a creative, fun and engaging experience for artists of all levels and abilities. The week long camp is packed with enticing projects, faculty led curriculum and a variety of mediums, providing campers with an opportunity beyond what they would encounter in the average classroom setting.
Summer Art Camp focuses on drawing, painting and sculpture including landscape, 2D design, mask-making and observational drawings using graphite, colored pencil, acrylic paint and paper building materials for mask making. Campers will experiment with expressive drawing and painting techniques to add contrast, movement, emphasis, unity and creativity to their artwork resulting in beautiful works of Art!

Law and Government Camp will introduce students to many aspects of___________________________________________________
our local government and the legal system. Students will learn essential skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, and the art of forming a persuasive, cohesive argument.
Camp activities will include opportunities for campers to act as lawyers, witnesses, judges and jurors in Mock Trial situations. Campers will also have the opportunity to interact with leaders in the fields of law and government through presentations at Holy Trinity and field trips that may include special sessions at the Nassau County Legislature, police headquarters and The New York State Supreme Court.Our program is student-centered, hands-on and inquiry based. Students will use critical thinking skills and creativity to design solutions to real world problems. Their week’s adventures will include exploring engineering design principles, robotics, 3-D printing, coding and engaging in problem-solving challenges. The camp will be held in Holy Trinity’s newly renovated science lab and STEM Hub.
Curriculum used in all camps is developed and taught by Holy Trinity educators, who are N.Y.S. certified teachers. All camps will take place in person at Holy Trinity High School and will follow current New York State Department Of Health COVID-19 protocols.
